Estimating mold remediation
Describe the affected area and the moisture source, which must be fixed or the mold returns. Price containment, removal of porous materials, cleaning, drying and disposal, and say whether rebuilding is included. Note the area may grow once walls are opened. Some states license mold assessors and remediators and don’t allow the same company to do both.

Does insurance cover mold?
Sometimes, when caused by a covered sudden water event. Provide an itemized estimate for the claim.
Is rebuild included?
State it either way; many remediators don’t do rebuild.
