What to put on a cleaning quote
- The property: size, rooms, and anything unusual such as pets.
- Frequency and price per visit, with the first deep clean separate.
- What every visit includes, so there’s no debate later.
- Add-ons the client can choose.
- Supplies: yours or theirs.
- Policies: cancellations, lockouts, how long the price holds.
For commercial cleaning, quote per month with the number of visits and the square footage, and list areas and tasks by frequency (daily, weekly, monthly).
From accepted quote to invoice
A quote is a fixed offer: once the client accepts it in writing, by signing it or replying to say yes, both sides are bound by its price and scope. Keep the accepted copy. When the work is done, open the quote in the free quote maker and switch it to Invoice, or start from the cleaning invoice template. Anything the client added later goes on its own line.

Should I quote cleaning per hour or per visit?
Per visit is easier for clients to accept and rewards efficient work. Quote by the hour only for one-off jobs whose condition you can’t see.
How long should a cleaning quote be valid?
Thirty days is typical. Note that the price may be reviewed after the first visit if the home is very different from what was described.
What’s the difference between a cleaning quote and an estimate?
A quote is a fixed price you’ll stand by; an estimate is approximate. For recurring cleaning, a quote is usual. Use the cleaning estimate template if the scope is uncertain.
