Estimating pest control
Name the pest, the evidence found and the affected areas, then the plan: initial treatment, follow-ups, and exclusion (sealing entry points) to stop it coming back. Recurring plans are where most companies earn, so offer one. Many states require the applicator’s license number and product information on paperwork. Frequently asked questions
Is the inspection free?
Many companies offer free inspections for homeowners; termite inspections for real estate sales are usually charged.
Should exclusion be included?
Offer it; treatment without sealing entry points often fails.
How many follow-ups?
Depends on the pest. Rodents and bed bugs often need two or more.
