Estimating lawn care
Measure the lawn (satellite maps work well), note obstacles, slopes and gate widths, and estimate time per visit. Multiply by the expected visits for the season, and add treatments and cleanups. Make clear the season total is an estimate, since visits depend on rain. Turn it into a contract with the lawn care quote template.
Frequently asked questions
How many mowing visits in a season?
Often 24–30 weekly visits in much of the US, fewer in dry or short seasons.
Should treatments be included?
Offer them as a program; applying pesticides may require a state license.
How do I price a slope or obstacles?
Add time per visit, which raises the per-visit price.
