Quoting a list of small jobs
Price each task separately so the customer can choose, and say what each price assumes (for example, that the ceiling box is rated for a fan). Include a trip fee or minimum charge. Know your limits: many states require a contractor’s license for jobs above a set dollar amount, and for electrical and plumbing work beyond simple replacements. Use the handyman estimate template when you can’t see the job first.
From accepted quote to invoice
A quote is a fixed offer: once the client accepts it in writing, by signing it or replying to say yes, both sides are bound by its price and scope. Keep the accepted copy. When the work is done, open the quote in the free quote maker and switch it to Invoice, or start from the handyman invoice template. Anything the client added later goes on its own line.
