Quoting window cleaning
Count windows (or panes, for divided lights) and price inside and outside separately, with a premium for upper floors and ladder or water-fed pole work. Add screens, tracks and sills as options. Give one total for the first clean and a lower price per visit for recurring service. For storefronts, quote weekly or every two weeks.
See the window cleaning estimate template for the per-window breakdown.
From accepted quote to invoice
A quote is a fixed offer: once the client accepts it in writing, by signing it or replying to say yes, both sides are bound by its price and scope. Keep the accepted copy. When the work is done, open the quote in the free quote maker and switch it to Invoice, or start from the cleaning invoice template. Anything the client added later goes on its own line.
Frequently asked questions
Should I quote per window or for the whole house?
Build it per window, then show a total. Customers like a single price; you need the breakdown.
Are screens included?
Say so either way. Many cleaners charge extra for screens and tracks.
Do I need to see the house?
Photos or street view are often enough for a quote; confirm on arrival.
